Amtico goes for gold

Amtico International has created a new Fiber flooring range for interior designers, specifiers and architects.
By combining complex metallics with contrasting materials, the Fiber range has the appearance of a metallic woven textile, yet offers the design functionality and quality that is synonymous with the Amtico brand.
Sian Lewis, UK Marketing Manager for Amtico International, comments: “When the Amtico design team was tasked with developing the new range, the brief was to create a flooring product that would be both inviting and elegant. After two years of planning and through the careful use of cutting edge technology, we feel that Fiber has exceeded that original brief, resulting in an exciting and entirely different addition to our already extensive portfolio of products designed to meet the needs of the hospitality, retail, commercial, and leisure markets.”
Fiber is designed to be laid with metallic feature stripping between each tile and tessellated in simple squares to showcase the way the light reflects on the weave. The tiles feature a smooth finish with bevelled edges and urethane coating.
The colours available include Fiber Gold, Fiber Bronze, Fiber Mercury and Fiber Carbon.
