Signs of sustainability

15 July 2009 GMT 16:42 (Surrey)

Timber Fin is a new sustainable sign system launched by Signbox.

Laminated from commercial grade offcuts of Western Red Cedar, Timber Fin is a natural alternative to aluminium.

The sustainable sign system is durable, versatile and offers a service life of up to thirty years in the ground, and some sixty years above ground.

Timber Fin can be supplied in monolith or twin post format, supporting individual fabricated letters or toughened glass panels. Characters can be routed into the profile and left untreated, or protected with pigmented finishes.

Timber Fin comes from a sustainable source and is available in several profile widths. Cable management is possible to conceal low voltage wiring for illuminated signs.
