Selva launch Alpine.Life.Style collection

Sleeper Magazine attended the launch of the ‘Alpine room’ which aims to redefine the alpine style of furnishing and reflect the Tyrolean lifestyle. Housed in Selva’s dedicated hospitality showroom, the sample guestroom features furniture crafted from pine and walnut. Its centrepiece is a custom-designed headboard with alpine-themed inlay.

The Alpine.Life.Style collection is designed by Hugo and Hanspeter Demetz and focuses on the essence of the Alps. This is captured in the use of the Swiss stone pine tree, also known as the Arolla pine. The tree is comprised of a soft and scented wood and is found only on the highest slopes of the Alps. The aromatic oils of the pine is said to evoke good health and a restful night’s sleep.
