‘Smart-ologic Corian® Living’

The concept will be unveiled in April at Milan design week.
 
’Smart-ologic Corian® Living’ will feature futuristic forms of DuPont™ Corian® made with bio-sourced sustainable components and recycled materials, proposed as possible options to meet the emerging technical and environmental challenges for interior design, architecture and building.

A selection of DuPont products designed to decrease the environmental imprint of buildings will also be incorporated into the concept. These include DuPont™ Tyvek® breather membranes and DuPont™ Energain®, a lightweight phase change solution to thermal mass in modern buildings.
 
All the areas of the home – kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, garden – will be creatively interpreted by Karim Rashid and populated by a variety of smart design solutions in which DuPont™ Corian® is the key player and connecting element.
