New contract sofa from Moroso

22 April 2010 GMT 09:03

Moroso previewed new products from its 2010 collection at Salone Internazionale del Mobile that have been developed by some of the world’s most eminent designers.

From its exhibition space, which featured a woodland of white columns made from high density polystyrene foam arranged in curving lines, the furniture manufacturer launched a ‘major new contract product’.

‘FreeFlow’ is a modular seating system with curvy, linear modules that offer maximum versatility for use in waiting, relaxation and dining areas.

Designer Gordon Guillaumier explains: “FreeFlow comprises two upholstered strips, one for the seat and one for the backrest. Depending on how it is used, these strips can criss-cross each other to create an interplaying form, and at the same time, it also allows for back-to-back seating, ideal for central positioning within a room.”
