Hilton Southwark site on the market
6 September 2011 11:22:07 GMT
CBRE Hotels have been instructed to market a site earmarked for development as a Hilton hotel in Southwark, London.
Situated in booming Bankside, an area which is seeing enormous regeneration, the hotel is located between Southwark Underground station and the famous Tate Modern art gallery.
The development has planning for a 280 bedroom, flagship Hilton hotel including 20 suites, a large ballroom capable of accommodating up to 700 people, health and leisure facilities, restaurant, bar, business centre and meeting rooms.
The property is freehold and importantly most of the groundwork has already been completed presenting new investors with an exciting opportunity to quickly bring the project to fruition.
Paul Bartrop, Director of CBRE Hotels commented; “This part of London is seeing rapid growth and gentrification. The Southwark Hilton site represents a first class opportunity to acquire a high profile hotel development project complete with full planning permission where much of the hard work has already been done”
The sale of the hotel will be subject to a management agreement with Hilton UK Management Limited.
