First Crowne Plaza Resort opens its doors to the UK

Located only hour from London City and Stansted airports, the resort is the perfect getaway retreat for both local and international travellers. The 194 room resort has 11 meeting rooms, swimming pool, gym and tennis and squash courts.
 
The Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester – Five Lakes is the perfect place to practice the golf swing, with two 18-hole parkland courses, three practice putting courses and a floodlit eight bay driving range.  Once guests have completed a game of golf, they can then take advantage of the onsite Spa which has a range of treatments using beauty products including ESPA, Clarins and Jessica Nails.

The resort has two restaurants. Brasserie 1, serves traditional British and European cuisine and Catch 22 is a fine dining fish restaurant which serves locally-sourced fresh seafood. Guests can also unwind in The Resort’s new contemporary cocktail bar, Bar Lacu.
