The Doyle Collection to reopen The Kensington in April 2009

New upscale hotel group The Doyle Collection is due to reopen The Kensington Hotel, London on 1st April 2009 following a multi-million pound renovation.
An amalgamation of four grand Victorian townhouses, the hotel has been transformed into a stylish pied-á-terre in the heart of South Kensington. The design team has used a combination of British and global design brands such as B&B Italia, George Smith Furniture, PTT Design, lamps by Porta Romana and bespoke fabric by GP & J Baker.
The Kensington Hotel is a member of The Doyle Collection, a brand new and upscale hotel group that comprises eleven hotels in six cities around the world.The unveiling of the UK collection commenced with the opening of The Marylebone Hotel and The Bristol Hotel in February 2009. Following the opening of The Kensington Hotel in April 2009, The Bloomsbury Hotel will open in May 2009.

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin
Cork Hotel, Cork
The Marylebone Hotel, The Kensington Hotel & The Bloomsbury Hotel, London
The Back Bay Hotel, Boston USA
The Dupont Hotel, The Normandy Hotel & The Courtyard by Marriot, Washington DC USA
The group was rebranded from Jurys Doyle Hotels as a condition of the sale of its Jurys Inn brand to Quinlan Private in 2007.
