30 June 2009 GMT 17:47 (Ørestad)
Cabinn Metro, the largest hotel in Denmark has partially opened close to the city centre of Ørestad.
The hotel's design is by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, who is also responsible for the new project on Ground Zero in New York.
Cabinn Metro is destined to become one of the city's architectural landmarks in its own right, with its striking red gable and a blue and grey façade. It has initially opened with 350 rooms, with the rest of its 710 guestrooms coming on stream by 1 September 2009.
The hotel features a conference centre for up to 200 people, a breakfast restaurant, free wireless Internet connection in all rooms and lobby, 24 hour reception, a lobby bar, business centre, and café.
