Yotel, the revolutionary hotel concept described as “The iPod of the hotel industry”, has announced its fourth project, a 669-cabin property opening in New York City next Summer. It will be the first Yotel to open in a city centre, following the launch of the brand in airport locations such as Heathrow, Gatwick and Amsterdam Schiphol.

Yotel Times Square, located at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue will be part of Related Company’s 1.2 million square foot, 60 storey LEED-Silver complex which will include residential units and the Frank Gehry designed Signature Theatre. The property is being designed by Rockwell Group in collaboration with Softroom, designers of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Heathrow. It will feature a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, a Club Lounge and the largest hotel outside terrace space of any hotel in New York.

Cabins will offer customers 16square metre of private space providing luxury bedding, monsoon rain showers, mood lighting and YOTEL’s ‘techno wall’ with flat screen TV, and complimentary WiFi will now soon be on offer to those visiting the Big Apple.
