Due to open this autumn, the £10million development will sit behind an attractive Georgian façade. Macdonald Hotels said their new hotel would  "exude all the quality and finish of a five star boutique property whilst encompassing the ‘stylised’ rich and plush decor Amanda is renowned for."

Macdonald Windsor Hotel will feature 120 contemporary bedrooms, many of which will have views of the surrounding area including Windsor Castle and the Guildhall. In addition to a large cocktail bar and open plan sitting/eating area with mood lighting for guests to meet, mingle, drink and dine informally. There will also be seven function suites for events up to 150 ranging from conferences to private dining, plus free Wi-Fi throughout.
