Jumeirah Group has announced a new addition to its portfolio – Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, a new 5-star hotel, located on the west crescent of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah.
Jumeirah Group has been appointed by Zabeel Properties, a subsidiary of Zabeel Investments, LLC to manage the hotel.
Architects from Kursat Aybak Architectural took three years to complete construction from the initial drawing boards to the opening of the resort in January 2011. The vision was to create a truly spectacular resort that reflected the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire.
The 405 guestroom culturally-inspired destination promises “unrivalled luxury with an imperial touc”. Hand-painted frescoes, Turkish artworks and lavish murals combine to evoke the magnificence of the Ottoman Empire. The imperial hospitality experience is further expressed in the design and scale of the property, the thoughtfulness of the service and the subtle interweaving of Ottoman and Arabic themes.
At the heart of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is the Talise Ottoman Spa, covering 8,000m2 and boasting 42 individual spa rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool and 3 authentic Turkish Hammams. In addition, the hotel has the Mehteran Theatre & Event Centre, which will play host to live shows and events.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray offers 38 opulent villas situated on the beach and around a lagoon pool; 10 restaurants, bars, a nightclub, boutiques, lush gardens, tennis courts and fitness centre; and an extensive selection of sports and leisure activities.
This is the first hotel developed by Zabeel Properties to open its doors in Dubai. The hotel is a fitting addition to Jumeirah Group’s existing portfolio of exceptional properties, which includes the iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai and Jumeirah Essex House in New York.
