HI DESIGN EMEA 2006

1-3 JUNE - THE CLARION HOTEL, STOCKHOLM

Spaces are becoming ever more limited for HI Design, the exclusive business meetings forum to be hosted at the Clarion Hotel, Stockholm, 1-3 June 2006.

HI Design will focus on the needs of the hospitality design industry for projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and bring together leading Interior Design/Architectural practices, key design executives from a number of the leading hotel operators and quality, innovative suppliers of products specified by hospitality designers.

"There is a growing realization of the importance of good interior design for the hospitality industry, and HI DESIGN has been created to address that," says Jonathan Needs, Director of Pelican Events. "The forum will follow the extremely successful Hotec format, and will help to facilitate better communication, better relationships and ultimately better design for the quality hospitality industry." Delegates, from interiors practices and hotel operators, who have already secured their place on this debut event specifically for the hospitality interior design industry, include the likes of: Hirsch Bedner, Wilson & Associates, Richmond International, Plasma Studio, JOI Design, Hotel Design Inc, Scott Brownrigg, Accor Group, Intercontinental, Le Meridien and Jumeirah to name but a few.

Neither an exhibition nor a conference but a unique forum, HI DESIGN incorporates face-to-face business meetings with inspiring seminar presentations and networking functions.

Integrated into the two days of pre-arranged, tailor-made business meetings, HI DESIGN will also host its seminar programme featuring two discussion panels and five presentations, each focused on issues relevant to hospitality design.

Pelican Events predict an expected 120 interior designers/architects, hotel operators and suppliers of the EMEA region will attend, potentially generating over 750 meetings for the delegates. The event will also facilitate many informal networking opportunities in between the meetings and seminars as well as during the recreational and evening functions, which includes a riverboat excursion around the inner islands of Stockholm. "These forums are a really effective way of doing business...and to have one specifically designed for our industry is a great opportunity!" Kevin Fox, Interiors Director - Scott Brownrigg.
