Palmer & Turner Architects and Wilson & Associates to create Hilton for Anui Yuanyi Hotel Company
Hilton Hotels Corporation and Anhui Yuanyi Hotel Company Ltd have signed a management agreement for the Hilton Hefei, the latest hotel development in the rapidly growing city of Hefei, capital of Anhui Province in China.
Scheduled to open in late 2006, Hilton Hefei will be located along the bustling Fengyang Road, near the Hefei New Railway Station and Luogang Airport. The hotel is in the commercial centre of the city, in close proximity to government buildings, offices and educational institutions as well as upmarket shopping malls, cultural monuments, museums, and temples.
The 26-storey building has been designed by Palmer & Turner Architects, with interiors by Wilson & Associates. It will provide 566 guestrooms, eight food and beverage outlets, and recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, health club and spa. Other facilities will include a 1,700m2 ballroom, six meeting rooms and three function rooms.
