SLEEPER MAGAZINE – ADVERTISING SALES POSITION

• This role will suit someone looking to build on their current experience in media sales, as well as recent graduates or college leavers who can demonstrate the required skillset.

• The successful candidate will be required to sell advertising and sponsorship across our portfolio of magazine, website and events.

• This position presents a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic media company, catering for a exciting, vibrant industry. There is the potential for extensive travel both within the UK and overseas, and fast career progression, for the right candidate.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self motivated, and sales focused.

They will demonstrate the ability to:

• work as part of a closely knit team from the Stockport offices of our parent company Mondiale Publishing

• deal with a variety of existing clients both directly and via agencies, by telephone and face-to-face, in the UK and overseas, to maximize sales

• think for themselves and operate independently whilst working in the best interests of the magazine

• identify and approach new clients in the market sectors we currently operate in, and to open up new areas for future growth of our business

• to analyse, understand and thrive in both the B2B publishing and hotel specification markets


DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• A proven track record in media sales, particularly within B2B publishing

• Experience of online sales and digital marketing strategies, particularly in a B2B context

• Any additional language and relevant computer skills will be looked upon favourably

Salary: £17k with additional OTE of £6k but uncapped commission potential.
